    Description

    Hi again,
    Take a look at this old guitar-its a 1966 Yamaha Red Label MIJ FG140! Its a very cool old guitar that sounds great (IMHO) and plays pretty good too. It has newer Grover vintage style tuners that work flawlessly and look cool too. I believe that the body is mahogany and top is spruce. Guitar has a buffalo bone nut.
    Its had some dings over the years, but nothing that effects its playability. Most notably, there is a large scratch on the base of the neck which has been worn smooth, and isn't very deep. There is also what appears to be a repaired crack at the base, looks like a glue job thats decades old-hasn't budged yet. Pls check out the photos carefully before bidding.
    Neck is a bit thin for my tastes, but you might dig it; prolly best suited for small/med size hands.  The neck joint does not appear to need a reset; looks very sound. The bridge has not pulled at all. The guitar has a very cool deep orange-y patina going on.
