Description
Up for sale I have a vintage Washburn DC60 Stephen's Cutaway Acouctic guitar. These are rare and beautiful instruments. It features a solid spruce top, Ovangol back/sides, Mahogany neck, 24-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with round inlay, diamond volute on the neck, rosewood bridge with pearl dot white bone pins, three-per-side pearloid head silver diecast tuners, available in Natural finish, mfg. 1987-1991. Features the amazing Stephens Davies Extended Cutaway which allows unprecedented access to the upper 24 frets. This one comes with a piezo pickup installed under the saddle and 1/4" jack through the strap hanger. The saddle on top is bone along with the bridge pins. It also has newD'Addario
53 - 12 strings. I have also added a clear pick guard in the traditional Washburn shape extended under the strings.
This one is in very good condition. It has minimal ware and tare of a guitar of this age. It has spot where the finish chipped off, i have filled it but it shows darker then the rest of the top. The fill is clear and smooht to the touch. Please take a long look at the picture, if you need more ask. The sound is what sets this one apart. Gorgeous deep tones with long sustain. Great mid tone and sweet highs. It has a very sweet shallow C shaped neck like an electric guitar that plays smooth and fast.
This is a used item and has minor defects such as scratches and dings in the finish. I do my best to show all major defects in the photos and description but it is impossible to account for every small defect that can be expected on used/vintage items. I only state this obvious fact because I learned the hard way that if a buyer complains that they could not see a small scratch in the finish and I do not mention it, Ebay may will view it as a legitimate reason for a buyer to request a refund. Please ask questions if you have concerns. I never describe any thing as new or mint because there is always some small detail that can be missed, items are "sold as is." I will be happy to take additional photos if you need me to. Thanks for your time and understanding.
