Violin circa 1890 w/ Bow, Case, & Accessories.3/4 Vuillaume (copy) made in Mittenwald, Germany circa 1890. Front is a two-piece straight fine grain spruce the Back is a two-piece handsome medium flamed maple running slightly downhill from the center seam. Ribs, neck, & scroll match the back. Stradiavari model with original black stain decorates the edges of the scroll & peg box. Varnish is all original & of a beautiful, evenly applied, yellow brown. The fittings are Turkish boxwood, heart style, tailpiece Hill style with ebony fret, Kaufman boxwood chinrest, boxwood end button Hill style, Deluxe French Aubert Au Mirecourt bridge. Length - 13 1/8"Violin Bow is 3/4 Alfred Knoll, Pernambuco, octagon, full lined ebony frog with German Silver mountings, Paisianne eye, & sterling wire grip, made in Oberprex, Germany. The case is a Bobelock Blu Velour 3/4 violin case.
