🎻 Purchased at a music store in Sheridan, Wyoming, close to 20 years ago, with the intention of getting the violin repaired, and, uhm, taking some refresher music lessons. Unfortunately, neither of those dreams transpired. I'm no expert on aging these pieces but a little research leads me to believe this instrument was made around the  1970s. Violin indeed may be older, but the Glasser bow ( which has seen plenty of use, as it has sprung many threads ) dates around that decade. The body of violin is in lovely vintage condition. A couple knicks on the front (tuner area), small nick on the scroll and some wear at base of violin are the notable flaws. As you can see, the tailpiece, bridge and endpin need repaired. The violin's case shows plenty of vintage wear. The clasps close ( one needs to be popped open with some assistance such as a top of a pen or small screwdriver ) and the handle is strong. It serves its purpose! Violin weighs one pound and measures a full size 23". I have more pictures so feel free to ask!  🎻
