Vintage Max Willibald Schmidt Repaired Violin 1951 With Case Copy of Antonio Stradivarius
Up for auction is a vintage violin of unknown manufacture.  We don't know much about this instrument other than the note inside stating 'Repaired by / MAX WILLIBALD SCHMIDT / ARTIST - VIOLIN MAKER / Boise, Idaho 1957.  The condition of the instrument is fair with crazing to the lacquer and some minor damage to the top of the body and a very fine crack on the left F hole (picture twelve). The instrument will need a new bridge.  Hard case included.
This is a USED instrument that is UNTESTED. We do not have the experience to say what kind of play quality this instrument may have. We do recommend that all used instruments be fully cleaned and serviced prior to use. Change the pads (where applicable).
