    Description

    This violin was professional restored last year by Gerald Field Violin maker in Highland Park Illinois.  New sound post, reset fingerboard to proper angle, new tuners, new bridge, new strings, new bow hair.  The violin is great and has great old time tone. Wonderful finish. Old time players will know the quality of these instruments.  marked 1890 inside and Stainer on the heel.  Bow is German and unmarked but in excellent shape. original case.
