Vintage 1956 Gibson Southern Jumbo Fresh Neck Reset Sunrise Pickup

Description

This SJ has all the vintage tone and mojo you could ever want from an old Gibby.  Freshly reset neck and levellel and polished frets make this guitar ready to go out of the box with low action, tall saddle and a wonderful setup (see receipt for 600 bucks which shows also that there were a couple braces reglued and a small cleat for a 2" minor back crack).  All original finish with tons of hours of playing time on her.  Phenomenal Classic Gibson tone.  This guitar is set up for a custom vintage Sunrise pickup with a volume and tone harness which installs easily into the holes which are currently filled with a press-in type stainless plug for both pots and body jack hole.   Just pop the plugs out and install the harness and you are ready for the stage.  Sunrise pups are the classic pups for amplifying vintage guitars and used by Keith Richards, Jeff Tweedy, etc...   Replacement Kluson tuners work great--comes with the original Gibson Kluson type tuners with new parchment colored buttons (not installed).
