    Description

Please note these pictures were taking with , and without a flash so you can see the different look of these beautiful badges. ALSO Please note I am NOT a military expert. So all this information is just my opinion, you'll have to be the judge of this fantastic collector's item. Now I believe this is a New York Brigade badge /hat pin. Now I've seen some of these from the 1880s which is super cool ,but there's no date on here so I can't be for sure of when these badges were made, or where there they were made, I believe they were made in the USA of course, but that's just my opinion. I believe these are original Civil War era badges / hat pins . These fantastic collectors items are approximately 3 and a half inches long at the longest point , and approximately 3 inches wide at the widest point. Now these metal/tin pins , are thin and super cool looking ,and all of these items look original to me . the numbers on these  badges are 12 and the letter B, and I believe that is a unit number,  or regiment number ? the letter B is a silver color , and the 12 is  a gold copper color, don't know why the colors are different , but that's just the way I found it , which I still think is super cool .I also believe again these come from New York which is fantastic. this pair is in pretty darn good shape in my opinion. this is exactly the way I found it . I did NOT clean it up AT ALL . I did not wash it off , I left it exactly the way I found it . THESE  collector's item should clean up really nicely , if this is what you choose to do , or you can just leave it alone , and add it to a real cool collection , either way this would be a fantastic gift for any collector or any collection . These two items were found on the east coast of the United states, the Maryland area to be exact. This is the only two that I have left at this time  . These are a used items , there are scratches , paint missing , dings , dents , discoloration, a little bit of rust, and some other tiny issues, but that's all to be expected , for as old as these items  are.If you have any questions at all, or need more pictures, feel free to contact me. Thank you so much for looking and good luck..........rbappm
