A Side Saddle enthusiast saw our listing for this tree, and wrote with some additional information on the style. She shared that this scopped/deep-seated tree is a Victorian Style English Side Saddle Tree which is excellent for historical model horse showring entries/displays, and that since 1900, English Side Saddles have been made with a practically dead-level seat that allows the rider to adopt a forward position when jumping. So as to an additional tree style, please do not hesitate to contact Alison at twmhc if you would like to sculpt a modern English Side Saddle suitable for showring jumping ~ we're interested in offering multiple styles to suit the various needs.
