  • Condition: Excellent condition and sounds great! Cedar Top, Solid Honduras Mahogany back and sides. Original design with one-piece Mahogany neck and Ebony fingerboard. Freshly re-glued bridge and top center seam - good to go! Action very nice, but players that prefer super-low action may prefer a slight neck re-set. Wonderful guitar with original Taylor Hard-Shell Case.

    Up for sale is this lovely Taylor Model 510 acoustic guitar.  Made in 1994 in El Cajon, California USA.  Serial Number is 941213127.  Action and intonation are nicely set.  This guitar feels, plays, and sounds great.
    Neck is the early design with one-piece Honduras Mahogany and Ebony fingerboard.
    Body is solid Honduras Mahogany with solid book-matched Cedar top.
    Generally excellent condition with a few small blemishes here and there.  Frets show only modest wear.
    Very light, solid, and resonant.
    Recently restrung with D'Addario EJ26 Phosphor Bronze 11 - 42 strings.
    For some, the action is perfect.  A precision lead player may prefer lower action, which would be best with a neck re-set.  There is a little room left to lower the saddle, but not much.
    I, like many, prefer the string clearance with the current action.  Really allows the strings to ring out without bottoming out.
    Things worth mentioning:
    The bridge and top center seam were recently professionally re-glued with fish glue.  Similar to hide glue, but a little stonger.  Great job!
    There is a small blemish at the bottom side of the lower bout.  Apparently a light bump that left a small gap between the finish and wood, but there is no crack in either.  Completely superficial.
    Included is the original Taylor Hard Shell Case in very good to excellent conditon.
