Superb Old Joseph Channot 1892 Labeled Violin 4/4 One Piece Back w/ Bow NR!

Good Interesting Old Antique violin in old case with generic bow is being auctioned off to the highest bidder regardless of price!
The violin has been extremely played on, as you can see indicating that previous owners clearly thought very highly of the violin and enjoyed playing it. With all the, nicks and scratches from over a hundred years of being played by countless players to prove it!
Gorgeous original high grade varnish exhibits the patina of age and some fine crazing on the surface. Honey brown varnish with golden yellow base covers the excellent one piece maple back with ebony pin dowels on the bottom and top that enhance it’s beauty. The top is made of straight, evenly grained spruce.
Impressive violin, that oozes with charm and personality. There is something very special about it, you can sense it when you hold it and play it!
The violin is well set-up with gut stings, properly adjusted to optimize tone and playability, and sounds great! Powerful dark far fetching tone makes the violin a addicting to play. It's a Winner!

Surprisingly the violin is in wonderful condition! with a small, minor left saddle hairline and  no damage, cracks or repairs to the back, peg box, scroll, ribs,  or sound post or bass bar areas. The top is in excellent condition, the repairs to the top look to be faked. All joints and seams are tightly sealed, in the back, top, sides and anywhere in between.
