guitars have a Tusk nut and bridge so much more of the vibration transfers.  I always add a final touch by putting in brass bridge pins with mother of pearl inlay.  The brass also improves the sound transfer and they look classy.  Price any other solid wood guitar made in America and it will be twice this price.  I will also include a pick guard or a lighter weight clear pick guard.  Professionally set up to be the lowest possible without buzz.   Includes hard molded case.  I will not ship without this protection.
If you are buying for an beginner, do them a flavor and get an American made guitar that is used.   New is not better.  What you will pay for a new  CHINA guitar, you can get a decent used one that will be set up, sound better, and feel nice.   China junk can stop anyone from learning to play

This time piece has lived in its case for about 30 years.  Made in 1994.   I could not find a blemish on this guitar.  This is Simon & Patrick top of their line solid wood spruce top and mahogany back and sides.  Professional lowered and set up.   New strings with brass bridge-pins with mother of pearl inlay....The finish is High Gloss and sounds like nothing else.  It has a very distinct tone for those of you with perfect hearing.  Naturally a hard case come with it and I would prefer to hand deliver but you want be charged shipping regardless.
