Real SWORD BELT For Army OFFICER with SNAKE BUCKLE & Sword Slings Circa 1860

Genuine antique military OFFICER'S Sword Belt with highly-ornamented SNAKE BUCKLE and leather belt & slings in excellent condition for its age
Black fabric belt, black leather sword slings with white metal buckles and hook, attached to black leather straps stitched to the belt, white metal snake clasp
There is a small tear to the longer sword strap, otherwise good overall condition. .
This is an original item and not a copy.
No maker markings or any indication of unit (or SIDE?)
I understand that these "Snake Belts" were worn by both Union and Confederate troops in the bloody U.S. Civil War
This item **is NOT** robust-enough to actually USE if you wished for reenactment purposes (AKA "Living History")
But I am sure there would be plenty of reproductions available for that purpose
I do think that this would be better-suited ONLY for Collection or MUSEUM Display
