Ray Doerr Violin

Description

The violin bears a label of Ray Doerr and was varnished by Ed McCoppin using Doerr’s red oil varnish in 2000 in Battle Creek, Michigan. The violin is in fair condition with wear on the edge of the top on the treble side lower bout and top treble corner. The top is two piece tight grained spruce and the back plate is two piece flamed maple. The ribs and neck are of matching maple.
