    Rare Antique Violin by Richard Tobin London 1820 w/ Hard Geib Case, Soft case cover & Accessories.
    Very accurate and finely finished work in classical Italian styles.
    Richard Tobin
    has the reputation of being the finest scroll carver in London in his time, and his hand can be recognized on many instruments with the shop label of Betts, Dodd , and Gilkes.
    Despite his meticulous workmanship, he is said to have worked very fast, and apparently could finish a scroll inside of two hours.This is a beautiful, rare violin made by one of the finest instrument makers of his time. This is a full size (4/4) violin. Approximate measurements:14 in/ 35.5cm full in length of body, with widths of 6.5 in /16.5cm and 8 in/ 20.4cm. Please feel free to ask questions.
