…….this is a classic…..vintage, almost antique USA made Ovation 12 string with no electronics. Appearances are deceiving. Despite all the finish flaws which are not unusual for an old Ovation, this guitar is absolutely beautiful playing and sounding. None of the finish flaws seem to affect the performance of this guitar. Lyracord deep bowl back side is in excellent shape, so I didn’t waste pictures on it. Original case shows it’s age but still is a great, secure protector. Action is good, harmonics are good, Ovation tuners in excellent working order. I have installed a fresh set of Ernie Ball Earthwood strings and oiled the fretboard. I have immensely enjoyed playing this Ovation as the strings are settling in. If you have the touch to tune it up well, the sound is shimmering. You will hear why these were a favorite for recording.
