Here is a nice old vintage Otto Bruckner violin for your buying consideration.   Would make a great gift or keep for yourself!
A Buyer was recently awarded this item, but then never paid.  So, the item is available again for your buying advantage!
Beautiful looking violin here.  There is a maker's label saying this is a Otto Bruckner violin, a Nicolas Amati model that was made in 1927.  Otto Bruckner violins were being made in the Markneukirchen area of Germany, known as the "German Cremona."
This fine violin and case is being offered to you at a price below what you would see in a fine luthier shop or high end auction house.
We have been selling fine items out of our home for over 35 years.  We are therefore better positioned to control our acquisition costs, keep commission costs low (if applicable), and finally, we don't have the overhead that the luthier shops and higher end auction houses pass on to their clients

This is not an original Nicolas Amati violin.
The 1672 date is for purposes of representing about the time this violin reproduction is intended to represent, not when actually made.  This violin was actually made in 1927.  Amati was a luthier in Italy, this maker, Otto Bruckner, was in Germany.  Meant to be a reproduction of an Amati by the German maker from a standpoint of looks, dimensions, etc.
The violin has a two piece belly and one piece back.  The violin has a nice golden brown stain on it.
Nice arching on the belly.
There no hairline cracks, or splits on the soundboard/belly of the violin.   Beaks look good on the violin, some wear to the finish.    Some minor finish loss and some minor scratching to the to the surfaces of the violin, including the belly and the back.
Beautiful one piece back to the violin.  No hairline cracks or repairs to the back of the violin to report to you.
The sound post is in place (no guarantee it will stay up during shipping).  The violin is still soundly glued together as are the sides to the soundboard and back.  The graining on the violin, along with the varnish give it a great look.  Nice tiger striping on the back of the violin, back wood is most likely a maple.  F holes are very intricately carved as is the scrolling at the top of the neck.  The violin has inlaid wood purfling on both the belly and the back.
Nice ebony key board on the violin with no ridging where the strings made contact with it.   The end peg, bridge, tail piece, and sound post are with the violin.   4
tuning pegs are with the violin.  Tuner peg box is intact, no cracks or repairs.  Interesting how the tuner box and scroll is highlighted with a black enamel paint along the edges.  That same effect is done by the beaks.  Neck is securely attached to the body of the violin.
The violin is 23-1/8" long in total, 14" long by the body, 8-1/8" wide by lower bout, and 6-5/8" by the upper bout.  The violin does not come with a certificate of authenticity.
The violin comes with an older hard case that has a gold colored label from Lifton in it.  The handle is not on the case.
No violin bows are being included with this violin offering.
The two violin bows we acquired with the violin are being sold separately.  See further information about below.
Some new old strings still in their packets in the case, some old rosin and a second chin rest that has a Becker marking on the back of it.
This musical instrument is not represented to be in playing condition.  There will need to be some ;refurbishing to the violin to make the instrument playable again from your personal perspective.
Not sure how long the strings have been on the violin, so expect that needs to be done.
