Description

Up for auction is a nice old full size  violin for  restorer or collector.We put it on intact as we found it.It was cleaned with walnut oil. The label:  see photo!
Shipping worldwide.Please ask for the price of shipping as, due to the health crisis it is changing a lot.It can be cheaper and more expensive.Eu 43$ Usa 90$. All items are sold as they are pictured in the photographs. Please look carefully at the pictures and ask for details before bidding as this is an as-is sale and no return auction.
The side is on the top right caa 3 cm crack, -easy to repair.
At the bottom of the back the two sides caa 8 cm separated.It only looks faint but must be glued.
Side, roof, back is a partial separated!It almost doesn't look like it but I think it's gluing.--see photo.
No breakage, No cracking, tobacco odor, smoky nicks.There is no sound crack at all.The looks old but still sounds very good.There is a lot of wear, a lot of patina, burnt dirt, varnish wear-cracking..but I would still consider it a beautiful instrument.There is a lot of dust and soot inside.The snail and neck were replaced sometime!, along with the neck, - it definitely seems, but it still played a lot, since the fingerboard was very veined, - I think it needs to be replaced.The back is beautiful foamy maple, very nice veined.The roof is  dense fairly beautiful pine.Back:caa 36 cm  Totál:caa 59,5 cm..........
