Why do you want to buy your violin from Tarisio or any other auction house? Don't know what you're buying. You don't know what your instrument will sound like. You won't  know how much money you'll have to spend on the violin to have it repaired. Did I forget to mention that you will have to compete with other bidders and pay the house 20% on top of your winning bid! Ouch!
This is a fine violin, and it already has been repaired. (Invoice available.) Perfect for the hobbyist, amateur, or above average student player.
The price is a third of what you would pay in a music store for a hand made 19th century violin. If you have buyer's remorse you don't have to keep the instrument. Send it back to me for a refund minus transportation costs. So, what are you waiting for?
I don't make money off of shipping. If you want to see my shipping invoice, fine. I will have the instrument put in a case, the case in a double cardboard box. The parcel will be insured and sent via courier.
Currently, the instrument is on consignment with my luthier, James Banicki, in Essex Vermont. Feel free to call him.
