Offering is a very beautiful full size old violin, labeled: Petrus Joannes Mantegatia fecit Mediolani in Via S. Margaritae 1775. The violin presents a very rich golden-amber varnish. Because of her age, the violin has some varnish scratches and some uncritical professionally repaired cracks on top and grafted scroll with bushed peg-holes. Ready to play with ebony fittings, new bridge and new strings. Length of back is 35,7 cm, whole length 59 cm, full size. The sound is powerful, warm, deep and rich. I have taken high quality pictures so hopefully the details of the violin can be shown.
