Offering is a very beautiful full size old violin, labeled: Gia Bapt Grancino in Contrada Largha di Milano anno 1699. The violin presents a very rich golden-brown varnish. Because of her age, the violin has some varnish scratches and some uncritical professionally repaired cracks on top, grafted scroll and bushed peg-holes. Ready to play with ebony and rosewood fittings, new bridge and new strings. Length of back is 36 cm, whole length 59 cm, full size. The sound is powerful, warm, deep and rich. I have taken high quality pictures so hopefully the details of the violin can be shown.
