Full size. Made in Germany
Old instrument (not imitation old).
Top has some cracks (see picture), but well repaired
No sound post cracks at top or bottom
New set up with 4 ebony pegs, tail piece, chin rest, button, bridge, and strings (Tonica Germany)
New nut, planed fingerboard, new sound post
Original varnish. Orange-brown color.
Cleaned, polished, and retouched.
4 block corner. Inlaid purfling.
Good neck projection
Top: Spruce, even grain
Back: Maple flamed
The scroll is particularly carved
Some wear due to age
Beautiful f hole
The violin has an open sound and clear tone
Deep and rich sound
Good balance across all strings.
Comes with an original case. No bows.
