  • Condition: Saddle is included, but not glued in place. Some light separation at ribbing where the endpin button is located. Some damage to one of the corners, back side, lower left bout. Scratches, wear to surface in places. May have open seams, etc. For set up and restoration purposes. No pegs or other hardware except for the saddle.

    Here's a nice old antique violin, labeled A.W Fischer Toledo Ohio. Probably late 1800's or early 1900's.  Label reads A.W Fischer, Piano Sheet Music, And Music Books.  Importer of Musical Instruments, Strings, Merchandise, Toledo Ohio. The scroll of the violin looks slightly Italian, maybe modern Italian? It could of course also be German or French, hard to know for sure.  One piece back. Reddish brown varnish color.  Could not find much information on A.W Fischer Music for dates of operation, etc. Clean and ready for restoration! Lower bout is 8 1/4", Upper bout is 6 3/4", back is 14 1/8". Ships in an old case.  Shipping within US only.  Thanks for looking!
