    Old Antique 200-250 years old 4/4 Violin (Maybe French or Italian)
    This violin was probably made 200-250 years ago
    No maker named, but has an old repair label (Restored by B.F. Oswald, Lockport, NY 1922)
    There are several old repairs on the top. All very well repaired
    No sound post or bass bar crack
    Top and back has "crack line", to look imitation old. These are not real cracks.
    Peg box has 2 peg bushed
    New pegs fit very well
    Beautiful scrow and f hole
    Nice inlaid purfling, nice liner, 4 block corner
    Original varnish
    Violin maker cleaned, retouched, polished, and setup
    New French bridge, German string (Tonica), 4 German tuners
    Ebony pegs, tailpiece, chinrest, fingerboard (planed), button
    1 piece Maple back, 2-piece Spruce top
    Very nice original dark red brown color
    Violin has been used very much previously
    The violin is very old, so wood is very dry
    Very easy to play
    Deep tone in D and G string. Bright in E and A string
    Good playing condition
    This is a full sized violin
