    Description

    Interesting, very nice, high arched  and old 4/4 violin with a human head. The label inside reads reads: "Johann Georg Thir Lauten und Geigenmacher in Wienanno 1772" (Its not that old, of course) The front and back is partly a bit loose. I found no other cracks or damages.  The back is nicely flamed, very high arched and made out of 1 part. The length is 60,5cm/ 23 3/4 inch. The body is 36cm (14 1/4 inch).
