Karl Knilling Violin w/ Bow & Case. 3/4 Size. Ready to Play.

Made in Germany, it's a Karl Knilling violin. With a 13" body and 21-3/4" overall length, it's a 3/4 size violin.
It has age and play wear, notably scrapes and scratches on the top. But it doesn't have cracks and is in good structural condition. As it came from a school auction, the side by the endpin is etched "DAYTON PUBLICs SCHOOL V583." It has four working fine tuners.
The 24-1/2" Glasser bow is in fine condition.
The case is in good functional condition, but is a bit rough cosmetically. There's a tear in the case edge on the back. The inside case lid pocket that secures the bow tip is missing, but has been functionally replaced with cardboard.
It's an interesting old fiddle, ready for its next owner.
