JoistMate Joist Hanger. Here is an incredibly handy tool to hang your joists on decks, floors, etc...especially if you are working alone.  Easily measure and adjust the hanger tool off the joist end and then secure the joist hanger on the cross-member with absolute precision.  This jig ensures the the top of each joist is level with top of the cross beam even though lumber often varies significantly in width.  Can even tweak-up a touch to allow for wood drying/movement.  Strong magnets hold hangers in place as they are transferred to the beam and secured.  I bought this from a specialty lumber yard 20 years ago.  I haven't seen one since!  High quality construction throughout.
