Jacob Hornsteiner Early Violin 4/4 Absolutely Beautiful 1920s To 1930. this is the most pristine violin I have ever had it deserves to be played and treasured. I believe this model was made before world war 2. I know after the war Ernst Heinrich Roth used the name for their introductory level violin about the same price as the roth 1700 model. I don't know before the war which model it was or if it was used by a different manufacturer, I had an Oskar Meinel that looked a lot like this violin it was made in the 30s this violin is the best conditioned violin I have had it sounds great looks great no issues I need 30 dollars to ship it, it will come in a case for protection. thank you for visiting my auctions take care. this has the second label of the store that sold it Lyons music Chicago I think they went out of business during world war 2 called the challenger
