    Handmade Scott Cao 15.5” Viola.
    Hello, I have in excellent condition a Scott Cao 15.5” copy of Gasparo da Salo 1580 viola model number STA 850 made in 2015. It has a tight grained spruce top, highly flamed maple sides and back, and double purfling. It was handmade by a single luthier. It originally retailed for 00. It comes with a Kun shoulder rest and a Gewa case both in good condition. It has a warm tone and is responsive. I am selling it because I currently play fiddle and mandolin and am sad that it is not being played.
