This violin has a paper label as well as the makers initials "G.A.F." branded into the inside of the back. The paper reads in two halves, left and right. The left half of the label reads as follows: "Gustave August Ficker; No 180; Anno 1960;Nicolaus Gagliano model". The right half of the label reads as follows: The Spohr; Made in Germany exclusively for William Lewis and Son; Chicago, Illinois".
Excelent vintage condition. comes with original bow, I can see mark that reads Germany, may be there is more, but I don't want to take it apart, also comes with original case with bunch of extras.
