Description
For sale is a 1981 Guild F-50-SB Navarre in good condition with original hardshell case. This is a the top-of-the line model offered by Guild originally from 1957 until 1990 before Fender's acquisition in 1993. It is a truly sonorous player that competes with the sweet and wholesome tone of a J200 but with a bit of its own warm, complex character. The guitar shows signs of age but has a ton of playability as well as a fairly clean aesthetic. The bone saddle is about as low as it can properly go before needing a neck reset, however, there is a fair amount of mass left in the bridge to be taken down as well as some healthy geometry or an instrument of this age/calibur (see measurements below). There are many many years of play left in this guitar before giving it surgery!Cosmetically, there is a piece of finish missing on the heel as well as a repaired top crack (see photos) along with some finish checking/etc.
