2012 Gibson Dove Acoustic Guitar in Ebony / Black Finish!
This is a Gibson Dove for those of us who want to keep it a little more Rock n' Roll - all black never fails. It's a Gibson Dove in an all-ebony finish, yet still with the ornate Dove pickguard and bridge/fretboard inlays! The difference between Gibson Dove and Hummingbird guitars, although very similar - is that the Dove has maple back and sides as opposed to the mahogany of the Hummingbird - making it a brighter and louder instrument. The guitar has the ornate Dove pickguard!
Excellent Condition, with very very light finish marks on the top and very light checking on back of the neck. ALL Original-NO Breaks, Cracks or Repairs. The original L.R. Baggs pickup has been removed, and the jack has been replaced with an endpin for use with a strap. Includes Original Hard-Shell Case and case candy (pictured).
The sound of this guitar is just beautiful -- probably one of the best Doves I have ever played.
