... AFTER GIBSON BOUGHT EPIPHONE IN 1958 THEY CONTINUED TO ASSEMBLE AND FINISH THE REMAINING STOCK. THIS IS AN ALL ORIGINAL 1959 EPIPHONE WITH ALL EPIPHONE PARTS. THIS GUITAR IS ONE OF THE LAST PRO QUALITY EPIPHONES EVER MADE. ONLY 29 OF THIS MODEL WAS MADE IN 1959.... RARE!!!! A 17 3/8" BODY WITH THE THIN , SOFT V NECK THAT THESE ARE REVERED FOR... EXCELLENT CONDITION, JUST A TICK OR TWO FROM BEING CONSIDERED MINTY. HAS A SCRATCH ON THE TOP THAT PROBABLY CAN BE BUFFED OUT. HAS A FINISH CRACK IN THE CUTAWAY. HAS REPAIR ON THE TAILPIECE WHERE IT COMES OVER THE BODY. I TOOK IT AND HAD IT WELDED WITH A LASER. HAS JUST THE SLIGHTEST WEAR ON THE FRETS AND FRETBOARD. TUNERS ARE REPLACEMENTS BUT THE ORIGINALS ARE IN THE CASE. THE ORIGINAL BUTTONS JUST FELL APART. HAS SCRATCHES ON THE PICKGUARD. THE NUT WIDTH IS 1 11/16THS". GREAT PLAYER. I THINK THE DEARMOND RHYTHYM CHIEF IS A MID 50'S MODEL. WORKS GREAT. I HAD A NEW 15' CORD MADE FOR THE PICKUP.... THIS IS REALLY A FINE EXAMPLE OF ONE OF THE LAST PRO QUALITY EPIPHONES BEFORE GIBSON PRODUCED THIS GUITAR MODEL BUT WAS A GIBSON PRODUCED INSTRUMENT.. WILL SHIP IN ITS ORIGINAL HARDCASE. DARK BLUE WITH A SORT OF ALLIGATOR PRINT TEXTURE. CASE IS IN GOOD CONDITION BUT NOT AS GOOD AS THE GUITAR........... PLEASE LOOK CAREFULLY AT THE PICTURES....... WE ANSWER ALL QUESTIONS.
