    Description

    Ernst Heinrich Roth violin.  You can see numerous cracks, nicks, scratches and gouges on the instrument.
    Most of the damage is on the top of the violin, you can see bare wood in spots.  There are cracks at both
    f-holes, also a crack on the bottom side about 3" from the endpin and small cracks on the sides of both
    upper and lower bouts.  Lots of wear on the edges, down to bare wood in many spots, some wood gouged
    out.  White spots on fingerboard.   Also someone drilled four holes, each 3/4" wide, into the case on the side
    with the hinges.
    Length is about 23 1/4".  The instrument has not been played.  Expect
    to spend some money
    to set the violin up properly for top performance.
