  • Condition: EDW. Hermann German Violin bow is working as it should and it has average amount of wear or use than you will see in a bow this age. I think the fittings are Silver they may be Nickel silver that I am not sure. I bought this as it is I did not have it re haired it is in the condition I bought it in. Please see pictures for condition. I am told this is a fine Violin bow, See pictures !!!! This bow shows age and I have every reason to doubt that feel free to send your questions. I have been around vintage instruments since I first held my early 1900's violin and bow over 55 years ago I know when something is really vintage. This is a real vintage bowNot a reproduction.

    EDW. HERRMANN  BOW  SILVER OR NICKEL SILVER MOUNTED WITH DECORATIVE EBONY FROG EYE WITH ABALONE AND SILVER, THE  ADJUSTER BUTTON IS SILVER, EBONY AND PEARL AT THE END  GREAT BOW .
    This is a used vintage hexagon shaft violin  bow with   Edw. Herrmann Stamped above the frog.  It WEIGHS APPROX 63 GRAMS
