Beautiful 4/4 Violin Stradivari Copy, One Piece Back, Italian Style, Handmade

NO RESERVE! Up for auction is a full size (4/4) Master Violin. I have closely examined this violin and find no damage, no repairs and no cracks. There is no makers mark so I do not know who made it, when it was made nor it’s nationality. This beautiful violin has been in my collection for about a decade and it came from a violin maker/dealer’s estate. As you can see from the photos, it was made by a professional because it’s workmanship, materials and antiqued varnish are top notch. The maker paid careful attention to every detail. The tone wood is of the highest quality and the one piece back and matching ribs (sides) are exquisite. The top is of beautifully wide grained spruce. The button on the back is ebony lined. The purfling is beautifully done with delicate ‘bee stings’ at the corners. The metal tailpiece has four built in fine tuners for easy tuning. The tailpiece, endpin, fingerboard and pegs, are made of ebony. The French bridge is stamped “AUBERT, MADE IN FRANCE. The strings appear to be made of steel. Judging by the delicately carved f holes, outline and beautifully carved scroll, this is a Stradivari copy. The tone is excellent! It is evenly balanced across all strings and has good power, color, depth and projection. This violin will provide a lifetime of enjoyment for an advanced to professional player. I have done my best to provide an accurate description and assessment of this violin and it’s tone.
