Andrew Schroetter Violin w/ Case. 3/4 Size. Made in Germany. Repair Project.

Description

Made in Mittenwald, Germany, it's an Andrew Schroetter violin. With a 13-3/8" body and 22" overall length, it's a 3/4-size violin.
Two-piece back. Spruce top. The pegs and peg holes are in good round.
Four fine tuners.
Cosmetically, it has ordinary age and play wear, notably scuffs and whatnot on the top.
There's a stable hairline crack on the top lower bout treble side beginning at the f-hole.
No bow. The hard case is in worn condition. One of the two hinges is broken in half and not working. One of the two case latches is non-functional. The strings are old.
It's an interesting old budget fiddle, ready for its next owner.

It will be well packed with plenty of new 1/2" bubble wrap and shipped in a stout cardboard instrument box.
