ABUS 83/45 RE-KEYABLE BRASS PADLOCK WITH #300 SCHLAGE "C" CYLINDER AND 2 KEYS

Description

This listing is for one (1) brand new ABUS 83/45-300 Series 2, solid brass padlock, fitted with a Schlage "C" keyway cylinder, which is the same as most Schlage residential locksets.  1 7/8" W brass body padlock. "NANO PROTECT" hardened steel 5/16" diameter easy change shackle with 1" clearance. Double ball bearing locking. Easy to rekey 5 or 6 pin brass cylinder with pinning window to allow rekeying without using a follower. Great feature for rekeying to match Schlage 5 pin residential or 6 pin commercial door locks. Lock is
set to be key retaining when open, but can be set up to allow key removal when unlocked by removing the Abus "Z" bar (included inside each padlock). This Abus 83/45 padlock is ready to use, right out of the box.
This is a brand new, never used padlock, packaged in the original box. It includes the "Z" Bar (inside lock) and extra spool pin, spring and chamber cover (C6A) for easy modification to a 6 pin cylinder. Two (2) 5 pin SC1 (1145) keys are included with each lock purchased. If you purchase more than one padlock, they can be keyed alike (2 keys
[your choice of SC1 or SC4]
included for each matched set), or differently (2 SC1 keys included for each individual lock). You can also specify your own 5 or 6 pin Schlage keying code (stamped on your key) should you need to match an existing key for a lock you already own (no additional keys will be provided).
When purchasing multiple locks, please send your keying
preferences
to me at the time of your order, otherwise they will all be keyed differently with  two SC1 keys for each lock. You can also send a photo of your existing key (showing code numbers and key profile) if you are unsure of the key code identification for the key you would like to match. This re-keying service is optional and provided at no extra charge. If you choose to have your padlock(s) keyed to match an existing key (or code) of your own,
I cannot test or guarantee the proper functioning of the padlock. All other locks that include keys will be guaranteed to function properly with the keys provided for 30 days.
