    Description

Paul Bisch 1925 Original Condition Master Violin with Geared Pegs, made in Mirecourt, France.  Amazing instrument.  APPRAISED AT 00 (SEE PICTURES). French spruce on the front, double flamed maple on the back.  This violin has been played by my great uncle, Buddy Spicher, who is in the Country Music Hall of Fame for his fiddling.  He said it honestly sounds better than his own personal fiddle.
Paul Bisch is one of the great French luthiers who studied his craft at the famous Mirecourt violin workshop.  His workmanship has received rave reviews from violinists of all backgrounds and skill.  He is particularly known for his distinct glowing yellow-red varnish, the recipe of which is unknown to this day.  His original label can be seen through the f-hole of this gorgeous violin.
The violin is entirely original with the exception of added Wittner tuning pegs, which make precise tuning a breeze.  Pegs like these are regarded as essential by most modern concert-level players.  I have a signed 00 insurance appraisal from Soto Violins, which will come included.  Message me with any questions.  Thank you for reading.
