    Description

    This gently used Samuel Eastman  3/4 violin would make a great instrument for a student!
    My daughter, who plays violin and viola in college, has tested that this violin plays well and stays in tune as it should.
    The body is in very good shape with some minor signs of use such as rosin residue, scuffs and scratches.  There is also a noticeable gouge on the top behind the bridge, which does not affect its playability.  (Please see pictures).
    The included shoulder rest in nothing special, but it is in very good condition.
    The Hamilton bow is also in very good condition with plenty of hair!
    The strings are in good condition.  Three of them (all but the E string) are Pirastro Perpetual strings.
    The tailpiece also has built-in fine tuners to make tuning easy!
    The soft Pretege case is in good, used condition, and shows normal signs of wear.
    Eastman violins have a great reputation, and this instrument is a nice one! I have done my best to describe it accurately, but please feel free to contact me if you have any further questions.
