What a truck! 2009 was the last year for these C5500's and this one is in exceptional shape with only 78K original miles! A contractors dream! Duramax turbo diesel, Allison Automatic, 4X4 Dump Truck - what more could you ask for! This truck starts, runs and drives well. The Duramax 6.6L V8 diesel engine starts right up and sounds good, very powerful & reliable engine. The automatic transmission shifts smoothly through all gears. This truck is equipped with an 9' aluminum dump body. It operates great and the hoist is controlled via in cab electronic controller. The truck is 4X4 and is activated via dash switch. Storage bins and boxes throughout the truck for tools & material!
Overall this truck is in good and presentable condition. The exterior of the truck is in good condition with no major rust or damage. The frame and underside is showing light surface rust in some areas but overall in good, solid condition. The interior is in nice, clean condition and the seats are in good condition with no rips or tears in the seats. The air conditioning blows cold and the heat blows hot. The truck goes down the road nicely and smooth as you would expect a 78K mile truck to. This truck has been mechanically checked and serviced - it is ready to hit the road. New front brakes and rotors. It does have a snow plow bracket installed on the front but no snow plow is included with sale. Note this is a used truck and small damages, imperfections, light rust, wear should all be expected. This truck appears to have been well maintained and easily worked, you will not find another like it! At only 78K miles this truck is just getting started! Great truck with a wide variety of uses.
