Description
Fannin is not a particularly well-known brand. It was evidently made in Japan in the late 1970s and 1980s. They seem to be some kind of Martin copies. This one is a model D-57. With a 15-7/8" lower bout, it's a full-size dreadnought guitar. It's well built with scalloped x-bracing. Rosewood back and sides. Mahogany neck. I'd say it's a copy of a Martin.
Cosmetically, it's in fine condition. It has very minor play wear. The saddle and nut are not original. The frets and rosewood fretboard have very little wear. 12th fret action is nice and low at about 5/64".
I just put new Martin medium strings on it today.
No case, but it will be well and properly packed.
It's a great sounding guitar, ready to play.
Questions?
