    Description

Made Mittenwald, Germany in 1967, it's an E.R. Pfretzschner violin.
    It's a Stradivarius copy.
    With a 13" body and 21-3/4" overall length, it's a 3/4-size violin.
Two-piece tiger maple back and sides.
    Spruce top.
Four fine tuners. The four Caspari tuning pegs and peg holes are in good round. There is a poorly glued top crack on the bass side top upper bout from the f-hole alongside the fingerboard.
The top and back finish is scuffed up, but in okay shape.
As it was formerly a school
instrument, the side is etched: DAYTON PUBLIC SCHOOLS/VA 92.
No bow. The hard case is very worn, but functional.
    The
case side is marked V720 and 3/4 with a white paint pen.
