You are looking at a very nice vintage 1958 Martin 5-18 Terz Acoustic guitar With New Martin Hardshell Case. This guitar plays very comfortably with nice action and has a wonderful clear bright cutting tone which is sweet and rich. This guitar is designed to be played in terz tuning which is basically standard tuning but tuned up to G (essentially a standard tuned guitar with a capo on the 3rd) it is a great pairing with vocals in this tuning and also fits nicely in a bluegrass setting. The guitar is certainly able to accommodate standard tuning as well. This is a really cool and rare guitar. The pictures speak for themselves this is a great example of a well taken care of Martin from the 50’s!
